#6 “Anatomy of a Symphony” by Jenna Huskisson
From the onset, I knew I wanted to end this playlist with Ravi’s Symphony III, since it’s the best conclusion to anything in life; I wanted to recreate the anatomy of the symphony, ending with Ravi. Once that much was clear, I googled anatomy of a symphony, to make sure I was getting it right. A Leonard Bernstein lesson popped up, which was apt because I am an amateur where orchestras are concerned.
So this is how an orchestra would look if I had it my way:
Jimi and Baccara are my strings
Little Beaver and Sly & The Family stone the brass
Abba and TBF my woodwinds
Death and Crona are percussion (obviously)
The Constantine Manos photo picked itself.
